Nope, you are using the correct plugs,I bought resister plugs once by mistake, once was enough, took them out after about 2 miles and threw them away, dreadful things, the engine was running all over the place,J.B.

Re: Tale of woe...

If memory serves(and you have a Minimag Box)the Green light means the ignition is working and the Red light will go out when the bike fires up,but the Green light stays on(I think)sorry I can't be more positive,It's been quite a few years since I worked on the 'leclics of a Rotory,J.B.

Re: IP 11 Grab Rail

I'ts that crappy Ethanol!!it eats the rubber diafram!!I got fed up with re-placing said diafram on the Classic, did away with the diafram, and fitted a normal ON/OFF petrol tap with the Norton fuel tap under it(for the reserve)worked a treat, no more leaking petrol tap,(just had to remember to switch ...

Re: E 5 or E10

When one is on the Continent one has very little option,(in my experience E5 being virtually unobtainable)but I assume that because it was for only a short period,no harm seems to have been done, after umpteen trips( he says touching wood)ride safe,J.B.

Re: Tale of woe...

I expect someone out in Rotory land will have a spare that you can borrow, failing that, Minimag is usually very accomodating (he even tested & repaired the 'leclic regulator on my golf trolly some years back)worth a phone call?good luck,J.B.

Re: Interpol

For those of you that remember it, my Classic had the 3/4 fairing from a Triumph 900 Triple that I adorned it with,(and very nice it looked too)I sold the bike naked as it left the factory, but I still have the fairing(and all the fixtures and fittings+sub-frame with the twin H/light's)just the thing...

Re: IP 11 Grab Rail

Hi Dave, you sure you have the correct one?'cos I fitted one to my Classic soon after registering it for the road way back in '98,I bought it direct from the factory and they had it chromed for me(to mach the one on the o/side)and it bolted straight on,and if memory serves there was a rubber/plastic...

Depends on what machine you are on,air coold's use quite a bit more than their water cooled counterparts,(and if memory serves my Classic regularly used a pint every 300 miles,)doubtless a Commander rider will tell you how much his/her bike uses, ride safe,J.B.
