hi all
just another one for you anyone know where to buy new running bulbs from and what are they called wires hanging out from bottom of bulb to solder on both are gone
am i right in thinking the fog lights are only on the rear

well thats life john, who would pay 15million for a van gogh or silly money for a statue but they do, and bikes are a bit cheaper i dont ride my triumph t150 or mv agusta much but if i didnt have them i couldnt ride them, and although bike prices seem to be coming down most people wont lose on a cla...

Has anyone else other than tim done the billet harrison caliper 4 pot lot of money if there no much better but if there like tim says might be worthwhile to put on even if i sell it

got the fiamm air horns now work fine will the existing relay power these or do i need to change to one that came with horns so is it the black one between the 2 green ones wiring diagram bit vague i do hope that when i ride this bike its as good as people say because at the moment im fed up with it...

You ask whats happening to the demand for rotaries is probably because there a pig to do owt with Choke cables came off in twin cable housing on any other bike just adjust the cable Not a rotary no you have to take both of the carbs off which are a pig to start with I just cant understand the thinko...

Does anyone know where to purchase horns for my commander andover have none changed both relays for new from andover but theres just a click on pressing Nearly finished bike which you will all be glad me too ive never known a bike like this all carbs off again as the choke cables slipped out of twin...

thanks clive will ring norton this morning, still got the original glass one but teres a stone chip in it which autoglass may do something with and a crack at top right hand corner although when the foam is fitted it doesent show so it might be going back on thanks again for everybody's help on this...

Ive changed chain gaiters what a bloody job and thats being polite
What i want to know have drainded rear hub totaly is there any oil kept in the top end i e front cog
Its says 175ml of oil or 75 top up am i toping up or total fill not drained any off front cog

before i replaced the forks the back wheel was off the floor but the front forks had been standing for 19years it was when i fitted the new forks the back wheel was on the floor not by much

hi tim thanks for info, i havent built them they came rebuilt on a running chassis i bought, but i believe there were different lenghts of stanchions for the xj series but same diameter

i have reviewed my forks and they are the right one being swoped over fron a rolling chassis i bought the problem with them is they have been rebuilt with new springs and stanchions but i dont know if they are the right one the reason i say this is because when the engine is on the centre stand the ...

the bike has only done 29k miles but been stored for 19 years I'm restoring it all panels now sprayed orange sunset but I'm diversifying the bike has been started and runs well after filling will oil etc while i have the paniers etc off the gaiters are cracked no oil leaks though but need replacing ...

Hi all been to regina chains today for a new rear chain told them it was 112 links 5/8 * 3/8 but im told theres all different sizes for smal to large motorcycles does anyone know what i should be asking for please

Hi clive i think your probably right i have bought an hydraulic lift now so im gonna do that next weekend wish id have got one jears ago but wouldt look good in my kitchen commamder would have been done in kitchen but would have never got it out eith panniers etc

commander front mudguard fitting

hi all is there a knack to refitting the front mudguard ie can it be put back on with the wheel in place or does it need removing which i know is probably the easiest way
