Opie Oils

This company recently invited the ROC to join in their club discount scheme for motorcycle oil. Whether or not they can offer any real savings I don't know, or even any oils suitable for rotaries, but given that it was free, the ROC (and that's you, the members) can partake in their scheme. DC

Dave hi! Hagons are quite close to me and it would not be a problem to drop off or collect stuff. As an aside, the ROC once did a bulk purchase of W2000 shocks from them; would there be any interest in a similar job lot for Commanders? DC

My RE5 has a early Krauser metal rack and pannier mountings; I would think Ebay would be a good place to look.\r\rDC

I would have thought this might be something with which Sam Costanzo in USA might be able to help; also, Heiner Brinkmann of the Hercules Wankel IG in Germany would probably have such papers he could copy.\r\rDC

I am also at a loss as to why the ROC is being targetted by (largely Russian) porn sites, cheap cigarttes and viagara sellers; between us, Graham and I must delete an average of 5 or 6 A DAY!!! ... but as to the apathy, I guess it reflects society? For example, you had 10 viewings so far to your com...

W2000

All W2000s were built over a 13 month period from Oct 1974 to Nov 1975 though some bear a much later build plate; this was because these were added as the machines were sent out to from the factory - up to 3 or 4 years later - or so Hercules GmbH told me. A total production figure was given of 1,784...

Before you strip down the engine, if stuck seals are the cause of the engine's problems - friends in the Ro80 club swear by Red-X. Poured down the plug hole - or even through the inlet or exhaust ports if that's easier - they tell me it softens the carbon build up and can free stuck seals. Diesel fu...

Spoof eBay Sale

I believe the pictures are of a genuine machine etc - it's just that the current 'vendor' does not happen to own it; I have it in mind that the very same machine might have appeared on eBay sometime in the past - so what I imagine he has done is to 'cut & paste' the photographs for his own (mis)...
