Hi I’m after old housings and sidplates/intermediate plates with or without damage aircooled and watercooled.
Any other parts you may have regardless of condition.
Any condition doesn’t mater if under size or badly damaged.
What have you got?
Email me at racecompsteve@outlook.com
Thanks
Steve

Re: Bending plexiglass headlight cover
I’ve made lots of plexus and polycarbonate screens. This is a vacuum formed bubble it makes two screens. I made this for the works RCW588 after the fire the corner got a tad hot, so I made a new one. 4FF9AE81-C405-4A84-99D7-16760097BC4C.jpeg Plexus is very tricky, it absorbs water and needs to held...

RaceComp’s 6 speed 588cc rotary engine project.
This is the model of my 6 speed twin rotary engine, it will be going into the some new build 7020 billet triple beam frame bikes made from scratch in RaceComps workshop in South Australia. I’ve been working on this project for a few years now and most of the parts are ready for assembly. Some compon...

Re: F1 sport carbs flooding
No issues with 02 sensors or thermo sensors. Will show more when the kit is released for F1 Sport, I’m building a new sport motor over the next month and will fit an EFI kit to set up. I’ve not done a Sport injection as it’s different to the F1 motors, it has Commander housings with a butterfly in t...

Re: F1 sport carbs flooding
I’ll have an efi kit that I’ll sell to the market, just remove and replace so you can aways go back to OEM. I can’t think why you would though but if for some reason a buyer wants it original. It is quite an extensive kit with new loom, ecu, fuel supply pump and regulator, throttle bodies and inject...

Re: Removing F1 fuel tank ??
Here you go, re the fuel lines make sure the one way valve is used if you replace the pipework. I remove the fuel line at the pump and bleed the fuel out completely so the header tank is empty before removing the two rear lines. With the ignition on, Open the throttle this will turn the fuel pump on...

Re: F1 sport carbs flooding
Overflow from the carbs is a fire in the making. This one of the many reasons I like fuel injection. Crappy fuel soon turns gelatinous around the needle and seat eventually goes hard. It’s easy for the needle to weep on first start up. It doesn’t take long to flood the outside of the engine and exha...

Re: 6 speed box for F1 sport
As Richard said you can offset machine a 530 sprocket or you go to a 520 chain you can get the tab washer on or alternatively use a tab nut and do away with the locking washer. A small grove in the shaft will hold it in place no problem. I’ve done few FZR600 and 0W01 6 speed cluster. If you are real...

Not a very good response from Australia members.
I’d love to know how many rotary Norton’s are in Australia and the states.

Re: F1 for sale
It’s got rusty brake disks so you could imagine how the eccentric bearings and rotors look like. They would not be the best unless it was properly bedded down and ideally purged with nitrogen inside the motor. These low mileage bikes can cost a fortune to put right if you plan to run them. I would n...

Re: Supreme commander
And just for you, Charles, photos of an odd engine that I'm unsure what it was for. Basically a Mid-West AE50R with fuel injection, I think it was a Mid-West employee's engine for his race hovercraft. The photo date puts if after MW had moved to Austria so I guess he just wanted it 'freshening'. Th...

Offered it to me a few years ago for au$50k. Way over the top back then but on the mo...
