It has many new or completely restored parts, forks, brakes, frame plus a complete overhaul of the engine including new seals, moly and resurfacing of the eccentric shaft. Comes with all the original parts. The original ...

Sand in the frame pleunum
Hi all, Recently I had my IP2's frame powder coated but unfortunately the sandblasting process left a lot of sand inside the frame. Manual cleaning and pressure washing has removed most of it but there is still some particulate left. Any idea as how to get it the last bit out and if it is critical t...

Re: Width of the air-cooled engine
Hi JB, thanks for the measurements. They are meants as a width reference for a Petrol tank I am building from scratch, fiberglass and kevlar over polyurethane foam, that sort of thing. If the tank was bigger/wider than the engine the bike would look podgy IMO.

I have, but I like the idea of keeping the Marzocchi forks, swapping out the internals like Maxton does, fully adjustable cartiridge goodness. besides already got both clip-ons and fork brace.

This can't be good..
Just dismantled the forks from my IP2 as the stanchions are starting to pit, but the springs do look in a bit of a sorry state, one is a full centimeter shorter than they other and both show sings of buckling up againt the stanchion walls. What do you lot think, are they ready for the bin?

Any remembrance of who that dealer was? My 3151 could very well have been one of those "smokers" as it was affiliated with the Whitehall horseguard. Silly to think they would bring in the bikes for repairs just bauce of over-oiling. smiley Andover report that they have ever only performed ...

All but forget to say thank you for the reception.. red face I know of one other guy who owns a Interpol 2 turned Cafe, he tells me that there should be two or three Interpol 2's in DK counting our bikes, along with the same amount of Commander's and only two F1's, one of which is currently for sale...

Re: Replacing exhaust
Sounds great! Saw what your post over in the for sale section though. Ash, the lasers work well but are too noisy for racing without the decibel reducers fitted. The stainless lead in pipes 'brown' as soon as the bike warms up after polishing them but so far they have not burnt the baffles out. When...

Just wondering, maybe it is just the hooligan talking, but would fitting a different set of exhausts be as simple as adjusting the SU's leaner/richer or would larger jets be needed?

Maybe the Ducati 750 or various Moto Guzzi's has something to offer? They do after all share the same forks as the IP2 and Classic.
