Re: F1 bodywork
Hi Willy, I dont know, that is the problem. How do I price something that just doesnt come up for sale, I honestly dont want to be greedy but cant afford to give it away either. Someone must have some idea?

Re: F1 bodywork
Come on guys, one of you must have some idea. I have had plenty of interest but dont know what I should realistically ask for this.

F1 bodywork
I have a set of F1 bodywork for sale but really have no idea how much to ask for it. I have the 2 main parts and the vented covers that go on each side. No screen or seat. It is in very good condition, no obvious cracks but would need painting as we painted it purple years ago, my wife loved purple ...

Re: Norton Aurora petrol tank.
I am reducing the price on this piece of Norton history to a mere £150. I dont particularly want to sell it but I just dont have the space for all this stuff and it is better than someone gets to use it.

Re: Norton Aurora petrol tank.
I like the look of that Malc, how do the Laser cans hold up to the heat ? I want to use something similar on the Spondon framed bike I hope to build.

Richard, you dont happen to know if the gearchange mechanism inside was basically the same as the standard box do you?

Roton
This the actual tank used on Steve Sprays Roton that he raced in the Australian GP. You can see where it was chopped in half horizontally and made bigger to accommodate the extra fuel needed for the race. I wish I had the rest of the bike. Very Happy http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a307/spondonash...

That imaginary big gearbox :-)
I imagine that this would be the end cover of the 'big' gearbox ? It is very rough sand cast.

Richard, I can imagine several sets of gears, gearboxes cases, end plates, clutches blah blah blah. I have a great imagination.

Re: What to do with the fairings
I must admit if I was going to have any sort of fairing on an Interpol I would find a lightweight replacement from some other bike. The standard fairing apart from being amazingly ugly weighs an absolute ton. Put it on Ebay or bin it

Norton Aurora petrol tank.
The perfect way to start to convert your ugly old Interpol into a beautiful Aurora. I have for sale one of the few Auroroa hand made alloy petrol tanks. It is in good condition with a small dent on the top left that is very easily repaired. The cap requires a new lock insert.£200.

Re: Water pump alternatives
Wayne, it could possibly have been that primary cover and pump but the pump was new and still in the box, not fitted. From memory there were no discs with the bike when I sent it over. The Dymag on the bike was a race item as far as I know.

Re: Water pump alternatives
Yes they did Richard, unfortunately I sold my brand new Rotax pump with my race bike years ago, it would be an alternative for my special. Having said that I think the electric pump tucked up above the engine is a better solution.

Re: Water pump alternatives
Hi Wayne, why on earth would someone have set it up like that ? It is almost like a temporary 'get home' kind of bodge until they could do something permanent.
