Re: Engine stand commander

Anthony's correct, I have one that was used to build alot of engines.

Just obtain a scruffy primary cover and modify to suit your taste. I can't post photos on hear anymore.

Re: Classic's and their owners

I did not get the key fob with any of my Rotary's, some New old stock ones turns up on eBay, I bought 1 for each bike. All were sold.

The Norton logo won't last long if it was used regularly. I can supply high Res photos if someone wants to get some made.

Re: Torque values for screw fittings F 1 Sport

Hi Holga

Richard has complied the list for us of rotary Torque Settings, I have uploaded the excel sheet to the files section of the Norton Rotary Face book page.

I don’t know how to make it available on here.

Re: Commander prices

Hi Richard

Never new Rodger was a rotary owner, I had one of his manly orange beasts, he said it was a ex demo one. It probably prepaid me for my F1. Jota 180 don’t like slow moving traffic especially at night. The alternator dose not charge the battery sufficantly at a low rpm. Below 4K rpm

Re: Torque values for screw fittings F 1 Sport

Hi Holga I have asked one of the prominent Norton engine builders if he could do a list of F1 engine info such as torque settings, sealants and other info. As he points out some are not specified I suggested where that exists N/A could be applied. As this is a massive favour to us F1 and Sport owner...

I have asked a question on eBay. I bought one of the left over tops from Andover, I chose the best one in the wearhouse. When I got home the centre hole for the side panels is out non of my 6 Ebrow side panels for my f1 or sport would fit (their the same side panel on both bikes). The two early flat...

Normal f1 riding I get about 90 to 100 miles to reserve. However on the track I have got it down lo less than this. It all depends on the right hand. I get considerably better mpg on the sport around 45mpg. The oil consumption matched the mpg on the F1 heavy on the throttle oil consumption goes up....

The big differance over fb and hear is fb you can edid and deleat your posts. I have removed my comments from a post when I did not like or agree with comments on face book. You can't do that hear. However Richard Negus made a valid point on the lack of moderating on this forum compaird to the noc f...

These may be the nearest you can get. The F1 forks are 4054 wp with brembo fork bottom. Richard had A similar problem when at rugley, he had to get one machined. Take A look at these on eBay. https://m.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/white-power-roma-4054-wp-ups-gabel-oehlins-pvm-rgv/864390937-306-8...
