Why not try the Dzus company? They are in Farnham, Surrey. Very helpful they are too.

Re: Rotary prototype special on eBay.
If someone is after a Aurora tank I have one, from the chap who made them originally. Cheaper than buying the whole bike!

Re: UAV Engines
You will be sorry if you use Norvil, believe me! Not only the prices, but also the service. NOC members of long standing will remember! Stick with Andover Norton, ask for Nick, knowledgable, helpful, and a nice bloke.

Re: Norton Day Friday 2009 Donington
I am glad that other people feel the same way as I did after attending Donington on Friday and Saturday, the whole thing was a shambles, nothing seemed to be happening as expected, even the parades of works bikes on track were so far away at Redgate that it was a job to see them and no PA so as to l...

Re: Oh dear !
The Chinese Nortons have never been near a Norton Factory,The BSA badge is the only thing that is BSA! At least the bike came from a Norton Factory. Why call a bike that was made as a Norton something else? Just putting a badge on a bike doesn't mean that's what it is,the possibilities are endless ot...

Re: Oh dear !
I agree Richard, what a talking point! What a way to de-value a lovely bike! Complete and utter rubbish. The best thing Bill could do is invest in a proper paint job(including wheels) and get the Norton badge back on it.

Re: Tyres and Lights
I like BT45's as well, I have had no problems on my Classic,I have tried Michelins before and found that they tracked the joins in the tarmac and white lines after they were worn a little.Make sure that the wheels are in line as well, although this can be awkward using a plank! There is now a machin...

Re: Leaking Fuel Filler
I can now answer my own question! I spoke to my next door neighbour, who restores cars, he advised me to use a thin piece of cork to make a gasket, and he had some american instant gasket that said on the tube gasoline proof, success, no leaks, (so far),

Leaking Fuel Filler
I have just noticed that my fuel filler is leaking .I have a Classic replica and the fuel filler I believe is a Harris item, as recommened by the tank maker, who made them originally. When I brake and the fuel rushes forward it comes out at the front below the flange, I have removed the filler and th...

Re: Chain oil
Thanks Richard for the reply, I now of course know what you mean, I was thinking that there was a different way of fixing the gaitors as that was what you were talking about. I have checked my chain and it has the rivetted link. Are there any other safety points that we owners should know about, but...

Chain oil
Hi, I have filled my rear chain enclosure with the stated amount of oil, and gone for a short ride, when I returned I found oil all over the left hand side of the tyre and lots over the rear sprocket cover! I think it is leaking out of the chain gaiter, has anyone got any ideas on how to stop this? T...
