I should have said 'Commander Special'......and I think it went to a W Country dealer -- the one that has that new Commander for sale maybe.Keith.

Shockingly big price indeed……..when one considers that 2 weekends ago it was on Ebay with a starting price of £6k, a reserve of £7.5k, and I had an offer of £8k ‘provisionally accepted’ eg the seller had already accepted a bid and if the cash for that didn’t materialise, the bike would be mine……so one can only surmise that the first accepted offer was around £8k too ? Gutting for everyone. K.

This was a ex police Commander that I sold to Dave Green. He did the conversion to cafe racer. I still have the spare keys for it somewhere. Derek.

The sellers discrption of daves old bike is a bit missleading, some who did not know the history could make the mistake this is a ex facory bike as is. We all know dave built this bike and to a very high standard.

Now for sale on MCN website (and elsewhere probably) at £3k less than the original price on the dealer's website. Think of a number.......K

write to the club membership address with your details and they would be passed on I suspect. There a few people who know the bike so questions will probably be answered on here anyway
