NSU Ro80 Exchange for Rotary Motorcycle

Post by Mitcher9 »

Hi, I have owned my original Ro80 since 1999 and it has just under 40k miles. In addition to the car I have also have a number of classic bikes (or boat anchors as the domestic management affectionally refers to them) and as my children have grown up I find myself using the Ro80 less and less and the bikes more. The reason for this post is to establish if a fellow rotary enthusiast would considering swaping from classic rotary 2 wheels to classic rotary powered 4 wheels. The Ro80 is in very original condition, MoT to January 2014 and presently on SORN. I am told that from April 2014 it becomes free of road tax as has a manufacturers certificate stating the car was constructed prior to 1st January 1974.Any questions or more info please do not hesitate to get in touch.Robert
