NGK Spark Plugs

Hi
I've always used C8E plugs in my Classic. Went to Halfords and they only stock CR8E, which i guess are resistor plugs!
Does it make any difference to running, better/worse/same just wondered if it's only Halfords or a general change to resistor plugs?

I think you're correct.
However, my Commander, that I've owned since 1995, always fouled the LH plug in heavy traffic. I splashed out on NGK Iridium plugs about 10 years ago and I've never fouled one since.

Hi Dave,avoide the NGK CR8E's like the plague exclaim,I bought some by mistake a number years back while at Cadwell for a track day,put them in for the ride home,bike ran like an absolute pig evil,so I ditched them after about a mile,and went back to the C8E's which I've always used in the Classic (and still do in it's water-cooled form wink)rgds,J.B.

Thanks for that John, I'll stick with the C8E type, think Opie stock them!

I've had grief with the NGK resistor (not racing , as I've heard folk say ) Trouble re-starting when the engine is hot .Pop old C8E's back in and fires up straight away .
