commander battery leads

I'm re-conecting the wiring harness to my commander,original harness with twin batteries fitted.What is the routing of the two earth cables ?? I seem to remember at least one of them passed through the hole just above the engine mount and secured to the starter motor mounting bolt and onto the battery neg' terminal.The other lead obviously links to the other battery but what route does it take.I made a drawing of this when i stripped the bike but the garage elves are taking the piss and think it's some sort of secret code so they have nicked it.They return these things the day after i no longer need them!!

Well, I've looked at mine, which is the way it rolled out of Shenstone in 1992.The LH battery earth lead runs down to the engine mounting bolt at the top of the gearbox. And the RH lead goes through the frame to the engine mounting bolt also. The two leads only meet at this point.Don't know if they are all like that, but that's the way mine was made!Ian
