Steering Head Bearings

Post by Wayne »

Hi AllHas any one used or know of a supply of single row self aligneing bearings, these are used in aircraft industry. These bearings are also used on race headstocks with off set bearing cups, on the race Nortons between 87-90 and 92-94, my harris frame has standard centerd bearing cups. I have seen a brand new set but unfortunatly the owner only has a few left so will not sell a set.I can put new bearing cups in the frame, but this is changing the angle and origonality therfor last resort, it would help if i new what the bearings were used for in the in the aircraft air frame? Regards Wayne
