Throttle cable

Post by Haggler » Sat May 09, 2020 4:57 pm

Hi all, finally got my inter 2 running, very happy. But the oil pump part of the throttle cable is sticking. Does anyone know where one can be sourced or is it a trip to venhills to get a special made? The other problem I have is that the tacho only works up to 1000 rpm then stays there. I must add at this point I have fitted a japanese rectifier regulator unit and have just run the signal wire off one of the 3 a/c outputs as it seemd to be this way on the original sparkrite unit. Any help here would be extremely useful
Thanks
Pete N

Hi Haggler,I should think Graham will have a throttle cable(may not be new though)I know there was one on the Commander I sold him a couple of years back, and considering he has been breaking Norton rotories since about the mid '80 he should have one or two laying about Very Happy, and people more knowledgeable than I can advise you on your 'tacho problem,SVF,J.B.
