Rotor housing damaged.

Post by Hunter »

Hello Everyone,My Classis has suffered sever engine failure. The problem is damaged surface with damage in several places. I think something like a small drill bit fell into the intake while I had carbies off to clean them. Of course I did not realise this. It run for a while then made clunk noises then stopped. The damage is too deep to just polish out and rebuild.I know side faces can be re-coated but does anyone know what If anything can be done for centre housing and who can do it?

I know Clemens Bubner of the German Wankel Club was looking at having housings refurbished.I might see him at the Wankeltreffen this weekend. If I do, I will ask how things are progressing ...David
