The Life and Work of Editorial Artist, Lawrie Watts

Post by Charles Wilson »

http://www.amazon.com/Watts-My-Line-Edi ... inePublish date is 2007.Quite a few pages of this work devoted to technical drawings made by Watts for Norton. If you Google "norton rotary david garside", eventually you will find a "Google Books" summary of the important section. The story of Garside remembering when a particular drawing was made is a thing of beauty, an insight into how the Mind works.Appears to be a good read.CW

Google "watts norton garside" and you should have the first entry "Watts My Line". Follow the link and you will get to a nice picture of a younger DG. Scroll up for a picture of Watts' work.Don't know if the rest of the book is a good read but there's a little more history to contemplate.CW
