Hercules w2000

Post by Canoegeoff » Sun Jun 24, 2018 6:22 pm

Hi
I'm a new boy to rotary machines! I spent all my life learning about up and down engines now it's start again!
Anyone with a DKW wankel near Horsham West Sussex please feel free to make contact.

Just finished a full strip and rebuild to give it a new new paint job and it looks good!

Hello Geoff,
Well done on the purchase of your DKW. Let’s see some pics.
These are a very rare machine and very underrated. I’ve owned my bike for 14 years and I love it and I’m not too far away from you I’m in Essex.
Don’t forget all DKW / Hercules qualify for free road tax and I think now also no MOT. All the bikes including the later oil injection models were all made in a 15 month period from 1975 and placed in storage but only registered when sold so even a machine registered can now receive the 40 year perks.
Enjoy your bike.
Many thanks, Joe.
