Thanks JB I'll not be putting a rack on for now. Ill just use my chuck overs. As I'll be riding solo that should be fine. It's only for long weekends and not camping.

Rack for a Classic

Can anyone recommend a good rack to fit a Classic. Stainless is my first choice, but I am willing to look at others. Thanks Mick

All sorted now. I don't have the ballast reistor any more as it's fitted with the unit from Graham. It seems to have been a poor earth and sticking seals. Although it all started when I washed it before the off to Dijon. It was quite a learning curve. I found out that if the earth on the return from...

Im having problems with my classic. The sparkplugs only give a white/blue spark, not strong enough to give combustion. I've cleaned all connections replaced the batery, and replaced the ignition switch. The ignition box seems to be giving the correct LED signals.Although the green is on when crankin...

cleaning

The black moldings on my bilke have been cleaned and polished by the many previous owners. Nothing wrong with this, but the polish has now dried and left the surfaces a dirty gray/white. What is the best way of restoring them. Any ideas?

Classic No11 on Ebay interestingly had NO bidders. It looks very nice BUT NOT Mollied. Not suprised it didn't sell he wanted £9000 for a machine that needs stripping before using!

Thank Richard. i wan t to replace /skim a Spondon disk fitted to my Classic.I have put an add for a spondon disk to no avail. So I will probably get back in touch with spondon, as they have offered to skim mine if it's possible.Funnly enough they declined the request of a warranty claim red face

Hi jb when I had the Commander I always carried a spair ignition unit with me I even let it go when I sold it ask Tim .That bike did over 60000 miles mainly in europe. The next bike carried a spair as do most of my other bikes its just a fact of life our ignitio n systems are suspect

Ignition Light

The Ignition light comes on and stays on for some time, then goes off for no apparent reason. As I am still learning my way around this bike shall I replace the regulator and see if that cures it OR??? exclaim
