Hello Dale,

And for more confusion, 00-4229 is the Twin Rotor Idling Supplement so more applicable.

Re: Classic Shop Manual wanted

Hello Dale,

00-4236 refers to the Norton Classic Workshop Manual Supplement and should be read with the Interpol 2 Police Operators Workshop Manual Part Number. 00-4228. 00-4237 is the Norton Classic Replacement Parts Catalogue.

Hello Barney, First of all, good on you for being able to remove the plug lead all be it with a little effort, I can't even see mine. I suspect the most likely cause of your problems are wiring, remember these bikes are over twenty years old now. Check the three pin plug and socket which feeds the c...

Hello Mick,

Sounds like Paul has come to your rescue. Good news.

I believe A.B.E. can also regrind discs if you have enough metal left.

Do you have any of the Norton type key rings left?

Hello Mick,

Allbikeengineering can make any disc to any patten. http://www.allbikeengineering.co.uk
Best of all they're only in Greenwich just through the Blackwell tunnel. They can also service and supply new forks and they make all the bits here.

In April's Old Bike Mart there is an article on Suzuki RE5 from club member Glenn. It's two pages and a very good read.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned but I'm getting over a recent very seious head injury.

Enjoy, Joe.
