Re: Classic No11 on ebay

Hello Mick, I saw that on ebay and also thought it was a few quid. A very nice bike and probably worth it as classic bike prices seem to be on the increase. Good news for us then. Regards, Joe.

Re: W2000 welded rotor vs bolted rotor?

Hello Mike, When I bought my W2000 injection model back in January 2004 from an ROC member the engine had been completly stripped due to a broken weld on the rotor. The break had damaged the end plate which Graham was able rescue but the rotor housing required replacement. Graham rebuilt the engine,...

Me too, on both of my Commanders. They give good mileage, about 10,000 miles and grip well in the wet. Not a bad price either but safety is priceless. Also, they dont seem to have the same isssue with white lines. Joe.

Hello Paul, Unfortunately, it has been bought to my my attention by somebody far more observant than me that theses dates clash with the Wankel Treffen in Germany. As my hotel is already booked for Germany regrettably, I too, will have to retract my offer of being on the standby list. I'm very sorry...

Re: Moly Coating

Hello Graham, Seems like a bargain to me, only £175.00 per face if I've understood you correctly. So for that, the original suface will be machined to occomodate the Moly, the Moly will then be applied and finally machined flat, glad I'm not doing all this work for for so little, or am I just greedy...

Hello Wayne, I can bring a couple of bikes if you have room for me. I was thinking maybe bring my F1 Sport which as you know was the NEC show bike from 1991 (I think), and if time and money allows I could also bring P56 F1R, the factory fuel injected racer but I doubt that it'll be a runner by July ...

Re: IP2 air bypass pipes

Hello Gripper, You are correct but you will need to disconnect the choke cable. One choke assembly securing screw is accessible with the choke "off" and the other will require you to open the choke fully to remove it. Easy to replace the "O" ring and be careful with the thin pape...

Re: Commander wiring

Hello Gerry, If I were altering the wiring on a Commander I'd move the ignition coils to a better location to keep them away from the water spray from the front wheel and also bypass the ballast resistor and use 12volt coils. Some Commander owners have issues in the rain and some don't, I did on my ...

Hello Tony, The last trigger I bought from Boyer was November last year and it fitted a treat and slightly cheaper too. The end of the armature to the heat shrink sleeve is 5.5mm on mine. Yes, I can confirm they are one piece. I spoke to a chap at the Wankel Treffen and he showed me a bag of three seals which he just purchased from Axrio and £120 each is about right. I believe also the rotor housings are available too and modified directly to fit Commanders for about £450. From memor...

Hello James, Soda blasting will definitely remove the paint on the frame it's a very impressive process. I used a company called soda blaster (http://www.sodablaster.co.uk) in Kent which is a bit too far for you but as Gripper says avoid sand/grit/ bead blasting, cleaning out the oil tank isn't an e...

Hello James, I bought a new unpainted Commander frame a few years ago which is similar to a IP2 frame that I had powder coated.
