I've had the same reply from Silkolene ....... I contacted the distributor from whom we (the ROC) get our oil; all he has left is ten x 1 litre bottles of the stuff.Let's see ....DC

Now here's an option ... why not, instead of spending time and a small fortune developing a brand new bike engine, source a few Mazda RX-8 engines and put those in a bike frame? The R&D has already been done by Mazda, and you have a tried and tested power unit.No-one thought any less of Mr Van V...

I don't know if it's done to ALL moly'd engines, but when Graham did that on my IP2 he put a 'M' suffix on the engine number; perhaps check and see if yours has this?; if Peter Morris still has the factory records from Shenstone & Rugeley, they might show whether the bike was so treated by Norto...

At the risk of being accused of being even more of an anorak ....It is not a true representation of the Union flag. The diagonal red stripes should be lower on the left hand side, while on this one they are uppermost on both right AND LEFT sides ...DC

It may be that I have been told a fib .... but I seem to remember hearing that the F1 headlamp was sourced from a British Leyland Austin Allegro - a bit like the Vauxhall/Opel Nova rear lamps on the Commander.Can you confirm / deny, Richard?DC

Hi Mike,To test the vacuum box (assuming you have it out of the engine?), push the piston in and put your finger over the nozzle where the hose would go.If the piston stays in, then the diaphragm is fine.If the piston springs back out again, your diaphragm is holed and the thing is scrap.Happily tho...
