I am not to keen on group rides myself,(I try to set a max of four,)but I have covered thousands of miles riding solo and didn't find it a problem(I expect being an ex HGV driver helps smiley)J.B.

As promised, an ongoing report.The Commander engine has now been removed and the actual Classic engine is now in the frame cool,now comes the technical bit,adding all the ancillary bits that actually make the engine run,I will report on my progress,J.B.

Thanks for that Mike,(I tend to put Esso top grade in both my bikes anyway)I contacted Tesco about their fuel and they were less than forthcoming about their diesel wink,but did confirm that BOTH their grades of petrol contained 5% "Biofuel" evil. I may decide to contact Esso about their diesel and ...

Hi Mike,when I put the Triumph Sprint Fairing on my Classic, to compensate for the extra weight I put a tad more oil in the forks,don't know if this would help you.
What symptoms are you getting that makes you think the p.o.messed around with your forks? J.B.

You could always get a solid one and have holes drilled in it (like I did for the front ones on my Classic cool)J.B.
