when I was at Norton's 50th anniversary I was told between £30 - 40,000 well they will never tell I told a certain gentleman as I paid £12,700 for mine and that never sold either. Why pay that kind of money when you can buy an MV Augusta for £15,000 enough said

Exactly, I have no intension of sell mine (my son wouldn't let me anyway), I do have great pleasure in riding it. Just pulling back the blankets and looking at it gives my immense pleasure knowing its mineRoger

Well I must be 1 of the 30 then although mine is 20 yeqars old now there is a modest 14,000 miles on it as most of the time I work away so overall not a bad mileage

I get e-mails if any nortons come up for sale and the F1 came through today mine is insured for £14,000 if thats the going rate will have to get it revalued

40 years of being self sufficient with North Sea oil where as all the money gone - not cheaper petrol for UK drivers that for sure, like they due in the middle east. Cheap petrolfor them let the rest of the world pay higher prices.

Well I have always dealt with NML and found them to be - well words cannot explain, getting the top people in the country dare I say 'world' to work on and put your motorcycle back on the road with TLC is simply very humbling. What I am saying is I did pay £12,700 in November 1990, but I was young and foolish, it was alot of money then (only 124 sold reflects this). Same today 30 -40 k is way over the top and what youngster can afford that so selling 124 will not keep Norton making bikes for the future. So if they reduced...

well at the NOC dinner back in June at Donnington I asked Peter Scatchhard how much will they be going for as I put my name down for one. Around 30 - 40 thousand he informed me. After mouth to mouth resussitation and a stiff drink I eventually came around. That's over the top isn't it as you have to...

JB don't fret vote me in to power at the next election and it will all be sorted, of course we will all be forced to buy Nortons first, but that really isn't a bad thing is it.
