Re: Commander and Krauser version

Thanks Tim - since I missed out on the parts I was watching on Ebay I can't make any progress on this at the moment (in fact I really started just wanting some fairing parts, rather than the Krauser conversion - that was just a diversion!), Mike

Commander and Krauser version

Hello All, I'm wanting to know what's involved in turning a normal Commander into the Krauser version. I believe the seat and all panels behind are different, but how about the front sections, tank cover, side panels etc? Just how many parts, brackets, fixings etc are different? I've been looking fo...

Re: W2000 for sale

There are two on at the moment - the very smart one in Greenford and a slightly more 'used' one in Coleraine.

Re: Wish to swap Commander Krauser by a Classic

Classics are elusive, but I see there's a Commander on offer in December's Classic Bike. Needs recommissioning, and not cheap, Mike

Re: Ex-Police Commander

It didn't sell last time and is on the bay again. I contacted the seller, who says it has TRRL connection but also used by police - at least, has police sign at rear and lights in the fairing (which can be seen in the pictures). Mike

Re: Hello to all

Thanks Tony - and yes, I am in Bristol. Will be (re)joining the NOC soon. Anyway, I've now bought one, no 4189, known on here I think, and first registered to Nottinghamshire Constabulary. Not sure how different that is, seat, radio, blue light etc and colour apart, from civilian Commanders of the t...

Re: Hello to all

Thanks for the reassurance about reliability guys, and that seat height won't be a problem. Not so keen on tall and heavy though - hoped the centre of gravity would feel lower than my K75! Maybe I need a Bullworker (can you still get them?), Mike

Hello to all

Hello everyone. I have just joined the forum because I'm thinking of buying a Commander. Lots of help and advice here I'm sure. I haven't sat on one yet, so the first thing is to see if they are too big and heavy - especially seat height for a 31 inch inside leg. I already have a BMW K75 which is al...
