Hi Tim Harrison im David Harrison,after more research it is a sprag type have changed primary oil and will see if thet helps ,doesn't always happen so will have to see,have not yet found what sprag bearing fits if it needs replacing any info would be great.

Classic starter problem

Starter spins but not turning over engine ?why.Is it a pre engaged type or inertia.If got to remove starter what is procedure looks a bit awkward.

I have spoken with the seller of F1 battery still connected for alarm,not been prepared for laying up so not oiled or rotated monthly,it has not been molyed. Very Happy

Was speaking with a old police commander owner on a D reg usingdischarge plugs,so can he use c8e instead he was concernedabout tip length to rotor clearance.Regards David

Not joking bike at North Leicester Motorcycles at 3700miles £12500 said was excellent.Looked tatty when i went to view more like 75000mile plus in salt water area.Richards on the case for me thanks.David
