2012 will see the Rotary Owners' Club reach being thirty years old!It will also see Epitrochoid issue no. 100!Any thoughts on how this should be celebrated?All ideas, volunteers to organise etc most welcome ...And why stick to just the one event? I think you might mean this ....DC---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------As I notice that there are plenty RE-5 owners whom have problems with theset-up of their carburettor I like to explain how this set-up can be madewithout the need of special tools...

Noooooo Roger!Fifteen pounds is the going rate for 2011 membership.BTW all, a pallet of the 'new' Silkolene 2T oil was delivered today. Just got to work out a price for the 5 ltr cans; I haven't bothered in ordering any more of the 1 ltr bottles as hardly anyone wanted them.TTFNDavid

The ROC still has stocks of 1 ltr bottles of Comp-2 ... and is about to lay in stocks of the 5 ltr cans of Classic 2T.Full details will be in the newsletter for members' info.David

I have had it suggested to me, that the rebranding of this oil to come within Silkolene's 'Classic Range', is nothing more than an exercise to save face of whichever individual whose decision it was to delete it from their main range in the first place.DC

And Rotella DD+40 has just 0.78% sulphated ash!Too much ash will lead to a heavy carbon build up - with the accompanying problems this brings ...David
