Re: "Norton Commander 600 Krauser 1994"

I sold the bike about 18 months ago,, i bought it off the original owner who lived around the Blyth area, not sure of his name now, but he purchased it new from one of the big London dealers, i must have purchased it late 90s or early 2000s, Dave

Re: "Norton Commander 600 Krauser 1994"

I'm sure thats my old bike, it was in very good condition, and ran well, i didn't get much interest when i was selling it, and didn't get nothing like that price for it, but fair play if the seller can get that sort of money, At the time i was selling there was also a new unused one at Bristol, I wa...

Looks like removing the whole set up is not a good idea then, mine is a krauser model so hopefully is fitted with a riveted link, but after reading this thread i think it will be wise to check just in case, looks like you found your's just in time. Dave

Don't want to hijack the thread, but would the comments Richard made regarding a service release in 1989, possibly mean that the last Commanders had chains with a rivet fitted as standard ?, also would it be easy to remove the chain bath set up all together, and run the chain open, with just some so...

Just to update my post, and thanks to Joe and JB ,i took the radiator back to the company and they moved the inlet stub back to where it should be, [or as close as we could guess from Joe's pictures ] and after fitting to the bike it was still very tight to get a pipe to fit but i did manage it in t...

Yes i see that one, and i must agree that at some point the prices must drop, however i've thought that for a few years and there's no sign of it happening, but as you say the buyers group in theory is getting smaller and some prices, particularly british bikes are getting silly.I have always run br...

Hi and welcome to the forum, i agree if that figure was not a error then the seller was high on something other than just the price, i'm no expert, and i know prices of british bikes are on the rise, but i would say he was asking around double what a good Commander would fetch, indeed i would think ...
