If replacing the lock actuators is as bad as replacing the window winding mechanism on a Bora I will learn to live with it,as you say, "Getting the door panels off is a real pain in the xxxxx,"J.B.

According to how many miles you re-conditioned engine in you Classic has done,it will probably run a bit hot until it loosens up a bit(couple of hundred miles should do it)at least,thats the experience I have had,and I should think Graham in Leeds would have the Temp Gauge you are looking for,J.B.

Hi Dave,
I ride most Wednesdays for a "Lunch Ride out" with a local biker club from Maldon in Essex,and a popular bike with these guys is the BMW 1200 flat twin cool ,unfortunately, to tall and heavy for this old biker cry,ride safe,J.B.

Having never ridden a Interplod,I can't comment,but I seem to remember reading somewhere that the Classic was the softer tuned of the two(a couple of BHP if memory serves)J.B.

I found the one that H/Davidsons recommend for their bikes( made the old g/box run a lot quieter) I used it for years in my Classic(and it's bright red,so any leaks are quickly spotted)J.B.

I seem to remember about 5/6?years ago there were reports of quite a few dodgy NGK plugs being sold,(and these were being sold by reputable sources) then during covid the reports seemed to dry up,bikes not being used I suppose,not heard anything since though,J.B.
