You could always get a solid one and have holes drilled in it (like I did for the front ones on my Classic cool)J.B.

Depends on how much a litre. On a recent trip back from Cumbria I was forced to pay £1-49p per litre in a motorway services (and that was the cheap stuff exclaim) which is about 14p a litre more than the best stuff at my local Tesco's.(needless to say I only bought enough to get me to a Supermarket ...

You are right about the arthritis Terry,mine gives me all sorts of grief if I ride any sort of distance evil,but winding the old Classic round past the "five and a half grand"rpm cool in the lower gears and that howl makes it all worth while(just take more pain killers wink)J.B.

The jury is still out on why modern bikes do not fit a charging light(but cars still do wink)but like I said

Hi guys,re;"Oily/Carboned plugs. Having given the problem lots of thought,I wondered"Plenham Chamber"?so off with the n/side Carb, and sho' nuff about an inch of oil in there smiley(scavenger pipe blocked evil)rectified this,sucked out the oil,and hopefully all will now be well. Tony,someone else at Porlock mentioned that "Exhaust Temperatures" had nothing to do with "Water Temp's" so how do's one test the former? (Very carefully,'cos they do run bloody hot) Very Happy.J.B.

Hi Tony, Reading your post again,the plug that oils can be either,with no particular bias,(this time in Porlock it was the N/Side)and the comment about "Cold running" I don't think applies to my old girl,she runs at just under 100c Very Happy.J.

"Reporting Back" Got as far as the camp site at Porlock(just over 200 miles cry) when the bike backfired and began to run on one "pot" (so changing to Champion plugs made no difference evil ) a quick change of plugs and back to running on two pots.
