Going back a number of years(5or6?)Boyer were most obliging when I asked them to test their ignition fitted to my Classic,it was fine,but I fitted the MinMag anyway and kept the Boyer as a spare and carry it on the bike,but whether they are still as obliging I have no idea,J.B.

It is not uncommon to get this problem while the engine is warming up,not so much when the engine is at working temp:Could your temp:gauge be telling lies? or do you get this prob:all the time?also is this a recent development?More info please,J.B.

Some time back I altered the fuel delivery system on my Classic by doing away with the "Vac" system and having a constant flow and just a "ON/OFF" tap and reserve,(no "Diaframe " being eaten by p**y ethanol evil)J.B.

Hi Mark,the info I have(according to the invoice from Burlen) is that WZX1100 was replaced by VZX1100,and like Richard says,replace ALL "O" rings while you have the carbs off,hope this helps,ride safe,J.B.

Hi guys,reading Richards info on the blue wired retard/advance coupling,I thought "Perhaps this is why my Commander engined Classic is such a pig at low revs" evil .Further investigation revealed that there"'aint no 'oles" to screw coupling into.Is it located somewhere else?Please advise,J.B.

I've had a bit of a "surf" and it seems that one can test coils to see if they have a problem immediately(engine not firing or firing intermittently) to test for the coils "breaking down"but not how to test for "cooking of plugs"after quite a few miles(as in my case smiley) none the less, I will car...
