It's a long time ago (35 years) since I had my commando but I remember there was a spacer, about 3/4 inch, which went in on the RH side. I took my IP2 off the road in March 2001 (at least that's the last tax disc). I've now got around to stripping it with the intention of restoring it to original MOD PLOD spec.Is anyone still doing the moly coating? Are seals etc. still availlable? I have an Interpol II I'm thinking of selling. It's been laid up for about 5 years. I was hoping to get it out of the garage this weekend and check it over.I used it daily for work (66 miles a day) until changing jobs and getting a BMW.
